Sales and System Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

This role involves combining commercial and technical expertise to design solutions for customers in the field of intelligent sortation systems. The position requires collaboration with global teams to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable specifications.

Qualifications

• Educational background in technology management, marine engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Technical knowledge and a strong commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer quotations simultaneously while maintaining communication with group companies.
• Build and sustain customer relationships to understand their current and future needs.
• Analyze specifications from service managers or directly from customers.
• Design solutions and implementation plans based on customer requirements.
• Perform price calculations and prepare quotations, including initial layout drafts and schedules.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure optimal solutions for customers.
• Travel approximately 40 days per year to meet with customers globally.
