Job summary

This role involves combining commercial and technical expertise to design solutions for clients in the field of intelligent sortation systems. The position requires building and maintaining customer relationships while understanding their current and future needs. The role includes significant travel to meet clients globally.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in technology management, marine engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge and a strong commercial understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness for working with diverse teams.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple customer quotations simultaneously and maintain communication with Group Companies.
  • Build and sustain customer relations to understand their specifications and requirements.
  • Design solutions and implementation plans based on customer needs.
  • Conduct price calculations and prepare quotations, including initial layout drafts and schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure optimal solutions for customers.
  • Travel approximately 40 days per year to meet clients worldwide.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.
  • Proactive approach to driving processes and meeting customer needs.

Education

  • Degree in technology management, marine engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or a similar field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with PLC software, electrical installations, RFID, barcode scanners, and complex software solutions.
