Job summary

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global non-profit organization focused on improving maternal and newborn health. Interns will actively participate in monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities while developing essential workplace skills.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student, with the internship integrated into the academic program.
  • Background in Global Health or related fields, with a strong interest in research methodologies.
  • Must receive financial support from a third party for the unpaid position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing data collection tools for routine monitoring and special evaluations.
  • Utilize digital data collection platforms for various projects.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Contribute to report writing, presentations, and drafting academic articles.
  • Conduct desk research on priority topics related to insights, research, and learning.

Skills

  • Proactive attitude with a strong teamwork orientation.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.

Education

Practicalities

  • Enrollment in a relevant academic program (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
  • Internship duration: 3 to 6 months, starting September 1st, 2026.
  • Flexible working hours, with the option to work part-time or full-time.
  • Based in Copenhagen or Ethiopia, with the possibility of remote work up to two days a week.
