Research and Learning Associate (Remote, Denmark)

Job summary

This role focuses on contributing to impactful, evidence-based initiatives in global health and social development. The position involves engaging with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure rigorous evaluation and actionable insights, combining analytical skills with real-world application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent applied experience
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in impact evaluation, research, or related roles within NGOs, research organizations, or consultancies
• Strong understanding of causal inference and evaluation methodologies, including randomized controlled trials (RCTs)
• Experience with digital data collection tools and survey implementation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex findings

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of impact evaluations across the full research lifecycle
• Collaborate with external research partners on study design, including experimental frameworks and sampling strategies
• Conduct literature reviews to inform intervention design
• Assist in developing, testing, and refining survey instruments
• Monitor and validate incoming data for quality and consistency
• Translate research findings into actionable insights for programmatic decisions
• Contribute to reports and presentations for diverse audiences
