Employee Relations Specialist (Remote, HR)

Job summary

This role focuses on managing employee exits and providing Employee Relations support for clients, ensuring legal compliance and a positive experience. The position is integral to the Lifecycle team, contributing to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies.
• Proven track record in managing voluntary and involuntary exits while ensuring legal compliance.
• Ability to interpret industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues.
• Basic understanding of employee relations principles and workplace investigation fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end employee exits across various jurisdictions, ensuring a superior offboarding experience.
• Provide guidance on HR matters including terminations, resignations, and employment contracts.
• Facilitate meetings with clients and external employees regarding separations and settlements.
• Negotiate outcomes in complex termination scenarios, balancing stakeholder interests.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in offboarding activities.
• Draft and administer termination documents while maintaining confidentiality.
• Process offboarding in the internal HRIS platform, collaborating with various teams.
• Respond to queries on offboarding matters and assist clients with Employee Relations resources.
• Conduct assessments of workplace concerns and monitor ongoing employee relations cases.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to product development.
