Job summary

The Regional Strategic Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of key customers in the Household Care sector across Europe, focusing on building strategic partnerships and driving sustainable growth. This role requires a blend of account management and commercial execution within a complex organizational structure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–8+ years of experience in B2B sales, strategic or key account management, marketing, or technical sales roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and conduct senior-level negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial aspects, including pricing and margin management.
  • Experience with pipeline management and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop assigned regional and multinational strategic accounts, setting overall direction and priorities.
  • Define and execute multi-year account strategies, including portfolio development and contract negotiations.
  • Build strong relationships within customer organizations, engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities based on customer needs and industry trends.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Technical Service, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and competitive threat mitigation.
  • Contribute to annual business planning and financial processes.

Skills

  • Experience with multinational or regional FMCG or Household Care customers.
  • Background in matrix or global organizations.
  • Knowledge of the detergent or cleaning industry.
  • Additional European language skills are a plus.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Tools

  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
