R&D Roadmap Manager (MedTech, Onsite)

Job summary

This role involves defining the focus areas for R&D within a MedTech context, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and user needs before product development begins. The R&D Roadmap Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the innovation pipeline by translating strategic goals into actionable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, strategy, or a scientific discipline.
• Experience in combining user needs with commercial thinking and technology development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in R&D and product development in the pharma or MedTech sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Danish is not required.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate and R&D strategies into clear opportunity directions, identifying user needs and investment priorities.
• Maintain high-level R&D roadmaps that align strategy, user needs, technology, and manufacturing intent.
• Ensure smooth handover of opportunities to early development teams with clear scopes and understanding of needs.
