Project Controller

Job summary

The role involves acting as a crucial link between project management, commercial teams, and business unit leadership, focusing on the financial aspects of project portfolios to support strategic decision-making and ensure effective project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and internal control frameworks.
• Understanding of business processes in a global context and local compliance based on global standards.
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365), and BI tools like Power BI.
• Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented with high integrity.
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and challenge to Project Managers on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and timeline updates.
• Ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions, revenue recognition, and job costing within Work in Progress (WIP).
• Engage with central IT tools and local activities.
• Advise management on financial implications, risks, and opportunities related to projects.
• Conduct monthly analysis for business unit management.
• Track financial KPIs, perform variance analyses, and prepare reporting and business reviews.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting tools and streamline workflows using ERP and BI systems.

Education
