About the role

Job summary

The role involves analyzing pricing and discount requests to ensure alignment with historical data and margin targets, acting as a gatekeeper in the deal approval process. The Pricing Specialist will work closely with sales leadership and the Chief Revenue Officer to maintain pricing consistency and improve commercial performance.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, commercial analysis, consulting, or similar roles.
  • Experience working with data to support decision-making.
  • Strong academic background, preferably with an MSc in Economics, Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • Experience in pricing, sales operations, or commercial strategy is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate pricing and discount requests across various regions.
  • Benchmark deals against historical data and pricing structures.
  • Act as a quality assurance layer before final approval by the CRO.
  • Challenge and push back on deals that do not meet established standards.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to enhance pricing decisions.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of pricing models and best practices.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills combined with commercial acumen.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing high volumes of requests.
  • Effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and ownership-driven approach to work.

Education

  • Relevant degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or similar fields.

Tools

  • Experience with data analysis tools and pricing software is beneficial.
