Job summary

The Pricing Analyst will play a vital role in safeguarding profit margins and ensuring competitive pricing strategies. This position involves close collaboration with sales leadership and executive management to ensure pricing decisions are data-driven and aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, commercial analysis, consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Academic background in Economics, Business, Finance, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with pricing, sales operations, or commercial strategy is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate pricing and discount requests from the sales team.
  • Benchmark pricing against historical data and margin targets.
  • Serve as a quality assurance layer before final approval by executive management.
  • Challenge and provide feedback on pricing proposals that do not meet established standards.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to enhance pricing consistency and decision-making.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for margin improvement and present findings to leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of pricing models and best practices.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and commercial judgment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high volumes of requests.
  • Effective prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and ownership-driven mindset.

Education

  • Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Experience with data analysis tools and pricing software is beneficial.
