A postdoctoral researcher is sought to contribute to the advancement of carbon capture technologies within a leading research group focused on gas cleaning. The role involves collaboration with national and international partners to enhance the efficiency of thermal carbon capture through innovative projects.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of Danish/European strategies for green transition.
  • Expertise in capture technologies and amine-related emissions.
  • Experience with pilot-scale operations and on-site measurements.
  • Proficiency in gas analysis and impurity analysis in gas streams.
  • Excellent scientific communication skills, with a track record of publications.
  • Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and inspire students.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct emission measurements of carbon capture solvents.
  • Test advanced solvents for carbon capture applications.
  • Write and publish scientific papers.
  • Apply for national and international research funding.
  • Supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Support PhD students in their research activities.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education
