About the role

Job summary

This position involves conducting research on urban resilience with a focus on national and international collaboration. The successful candidate will engage in publishing findings in reputable academic journals, participate in research dissemination, and secure external funding for various projects.

Qualifications

  • PhD in urban resilience, urban/territorial planning, climate change, disaster risk reduction, architecture, engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven research and publication record in relevant areas.
  • International experience, especially in transdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Experience in funding applications at national and international levels is desirable.
  • Background in delivering urban resilience projects locally and globally is an asset.
  • Experience in teaching at BSc and MSc levels is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Danish and other UN official languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and execute impactful research projects.
  • Publish research outcomes in high-quality scientific journals and books.
  • Actively seek external funding for research and educational initiatives.
  • Contribute to education and capacity-building activities.
