Qualifications

  • A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent in materials science, chemical engineering, energy engineering, physics, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Experimental lab experience, particularly in materials characterization.
  • Creativity and scientific curiosity with a willingness to challenge existing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in inorganic chemistry, electrochemistry, or materials engineering/synthesis.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Design, fabricate, and characterize novel solid oxide electrolysis cells.
  • Conduct electrochemical performance and degradation tests, analyzing results.
  • Collaborate with industrial partners to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
  • Document findings in scientific papers, reports, and presentations.
