Job summary

This PhD position focuses on terrestrial gravimetry and quantum technology, involving field deployments in Denmark and Greenland. The role is part of a long-term project aimed at monitoring climate changes using quantum gravimetry.

Qualifications

  • A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent academic level.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the EU-Horizon project EQUIP-G, promoting a European community on quantum gravimetry.
  • Participate in organized measurement workshops and international events.
  • Conduct field campaigns in Ilulissat, Greenland, in collaboration with international partners.
  • Maintain and develop national geodetic networks in Denmark and Greenland in partnership with the Climate Data Agency.
  • Receive training in operating the A10 absolute gravimeter and participate in annual work programs.

Skills

  • Strong background in geodesy, quantum technology, or related fields.
  • Experience in fieldwork and data collection.
  • Ability to collaborate with international teams and contribute to project success.

Education

  • Must possess a master's degree or equivalent.
