Job summary

The Operational Service Manager will lead and enhance the technical service team to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the Nordics region, particularly in Denmark and Sweden. This role requires frequent travel to Denmark and Norway.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in service management, operations management, or technical leadership, preferably in medical devices, life sciences, or industrial technology.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills focused on delivering exceptional service.
  • Commercial awareness to identify business opportunities and drive service growth.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in managing service KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with field service operations and resource planning is desirable.
  • Technical background in engineering, electronics, or medical technology preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English; Danish and/or Swedish language skills are beneficial.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the service business within the designated region.
  • Develop the Field Service Engineer (FSE) team in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ensure availability of spare parts and tools for service activities.
  • Adhere to service processes to maintain operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient service operations.
  • Monitor service KPIs and follow up on performance targets.
  • Drive digital solutions and customer engagement initiatives.
