Job summary

Seeking a results-oriented Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue growth in the biogas and biomethane purification sector across Europe. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with clients by aligning their needs with effective purification solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental sciences, or a related field; MBA or commercial qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales within the chemical, gas, energy, or environmental sectors; experience with activated carbon is advantageous.
  • Strong ownership and responsibility for achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, able to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience with adsorption-based technologies or gas purification is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the European biogas/biomethane sales territory to meet revenue, volume, and margin targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while enhancing existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with customers to assess gas treatment challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Oversee product trials, pilot projects, and multi-site rollouts with technical support teams.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and maintain accurate reporting using CRM tools.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory drivers, and competitive dynamics in the renewable gas sector.
  • Collaborate with third-party stakeholders, including EPC firms and technology providers.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and customer events.

Skills

  • Proactive sales approach with the ability to identify opportunities and enter new markets.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA is a plus.

Tools

  • Salesforce or similar CRM tools for reporting and sales management.
