Network Infrastructure Owner's Representative (Data Centers)

Job summary

The role focuses on ensuring adherence to the Owner's standards and technical guidance during the execution of critical network infrastructure for new hyperscale data center builds. The representative will act as the primary liaison between the Owner and the construction teams, facilitating coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in telecommunications
• 5 years of experience specifically in data center construction or fit-out
• Experience working with developers or end users

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train contractor project teams
• Conduct quality assurance and weekly site inspections with construction teams
• Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards
• Implement quality assurance and quality control checklists
• Review quality documentation and inspection/test plans
• Manage telecom package schedules and ensure completion of checklist items
• Produce progress reports for project management and senior management teams
• Address changes in project scope, including AI/ML deployments
• Manage risks and issues related to project schedules and quality
• Coordinate logistics for material deliveries and installation
• Facilitate sign-off processes for installations
• Participate in meetings to present project progress
• Resolve ongoing issues with partner and project teams
• Conduct weekly progress meetings with stakeholders
• Provide feedback to design teams based on site observations
• Standardize processes across regions where possible
