Job summary

The Lead Planner is responsible for overseeing the planning function on assigned construction projects, ensuring that programme development, monitoring, and control align with project objectives. This role involves collaboration with various teams to facilitate safe and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

Experience

  • Develop, maintain, and update project programmes throughout all phases, including pre-construction, procurement, and construction.
  • Ensure programmes meet the Employer’s Requirements and project objectives.
  • Monitor programme progress, identify delays or risks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Produce regular programme reports and support change management processes.
  • Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment of programme objectives.
  • Identify programme risks and ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to project planning teams.
  • Extensive experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and project controls.
  • Competence in using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

Additional Information

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
