Intern - Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation (NGO, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in global fundraising within an international non-governmental organization based in Copenhagen. The role focuses on supporting the Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation unit in enhancing collaboration with donors and partners.

Qualifications

• Interest or knowledge in humanitarian interventions, global development issues, and fundraising.
• Enrolled in the final year(s) of a relevant university degree in international development, social science, global studies, political science, or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and managing tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating tools for proposal creation and grants management.
• Support country advisors in ensuring quality project design and reporting.
• Conduct donor research and analyze funding landscapes in priority countries.
• Perform desk research to update and categorize relevant international foundations.
• Contribute to internal and external communication materials, including factsheets and presentations.
• Organize and follow up on internal webinars.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with other GPRM-related tasks as needed.

Skills

• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to compile information into clear briefing materials.

Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as international development or social sciences.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management and communication tools is beneficial. Access to a laptop will be provided during the internship.
