Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing the security, reliability, and automation of large-scale enterprise infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. The position involves ownership of vulnerability remediation and automated OS patching initiatives, contributing to a collaborative environment that prioritizes system security and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong infrastructure engineering experience with large-scale Windows and Linux Server environments.
  • Proven expertise in DevOps practices and Git-based repositories.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, preferably using Ansible or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and remediating infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead vulnerability remediation initiatives across Windows and Linux servers, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
  • Plan and support automated OS patching across production and non-production environments.
  • Collaborate with application teams and IT stakeholders to validate systems pre- and post-patching.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies to prioritize remediation work and meet deadlines.
  • Support change management processes and maintain documentation.
  • Troubleshoot patching and remediation issues affecting system stability and compliance.
  • Develop and enhance infrastructure automation for efficient vulnerability remediation.
  • Communicate patching schedules and technical expectations to stakeholders.

Skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities focused on system stability and security.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across various teams.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and infrastructure automation pipelines.
  • Experience with API automation and integrations with platforms like Tanium and ServiceNow is a plus.
