Job summary

This role focuses on ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence across Nordic sites and projects. The position involves implementing and maintaining the HSE framework, ensuring adherence to legal and ISO standards, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or similar, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on HSE experience, preferably in construction, industrial, or data center settings
  • Strong understanding of HSE practices, risk management, auditing, and operational safety
  • Experience with audits, inspections, and incident investigations
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing behaviors and collaborating across teams
  • Proactive, structured, and team-oriented
  • Fluent in English; local language skills are a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OHS card, First Aid) are advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support HSE policies and the Integrated Management System (IMS) in daily operations
  • Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records at site level
  • Assist with internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are followed up
  • Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and manage change activities
  • Monitor risk controls and promote safe behaviors on site
  • Participate in inspections and site walks, addressing and closing findings
  • Support incident reporting and investigations, ensuring learnings are shared across sites
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness activities, including drills and readiness checks
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and provide HSE guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Support contractor compliance, including prequalification and safe systems of work
  • Assist with environmental management and maintain records of impacts
  • Capture HSE data for reporting and performance follow-up
  • Actively intervene in unsafe situations and initiate corrective actions
