Job summary

This Director-level position is responsible for developing the human capability system within manufacturing and operations to achieve world-class performance. The role focuses on the architecture, governance, standards, and deployment of manufacturing and logistics capability development systems.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing capability development.
• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Learning & Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in training and capability development in an industrial environment.
• Experience working across multiple plants and cultures.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern the Manufacturing Capability System and establish global standards for workforce qualification and skills development.
• Design and optimize operator development programs, including onboarding and certification pathways.
• Lead technical capability growth through expert certification programs and knowledge management systems.
• Develop leadership training for manufacturing leaders at all levels.
• Build leadership capabilities in areas such as coaching, problem-solving, and talent development.
• Drive organizational learning excellence and establish systems for knowledge capture and sharing.
• Collaborate with various teams to drive strategic transformation and continuous improvement.

Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Ability to develop training programs for both blue-collar and leadership roles.

Education

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Learning & Development, or equivalent.

Tools

• Familiarity with knowledge management systems and best-practice sharing frameworks.
