Job summary

The Head of Health & Safety is responsible for overseeing Health & Safety across a portfolio of major infrastructure projects in Denmark. This role focuses on establishing effective standards and practices while integrating technology and data-driven solutions to enhance safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Health & Safety within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably offshore.
• Background in managing multi-project or matrix organizations, including leading specialists and department managers.
• Proven experience with digital H&S tools, risk management, automation, and AI solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with project leadership and executive management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve portfolio-level Health & Safety standards and methods suitable for complex projects.
• Lead the Health & Safety function as a Centre of Excellence, ensuring high performance and prioritization.
• Manage H&S specialists, focusing on capability and performance to meet contractual obligations.
• Drive the use of digitalization and data to enhance risk management and decision-making in Health & Safety.
• Provide consistent H&S support across projects while considering project-specific contexts and risks.
• Collaborate with Project Directors to balance project needs with portfolio-level consistency.
• Contribute to the development of the Project Service Office by promoting standardization and smart solutions.
