Head of Global Quality and Audit

Job summary

As the Head of Global Quality & Audit, you will lead a team focused on enhancing product quality and managing the quality management system across various production sites. This role emphasizes hands-on improvement and operational impact, with a strong commitment to quality transformation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in process-chemical manufacturing, preferably in catalyst, specialty/fine chemical, refining, fertilizer, petrochemical, or pharma API sectors.
• Proven track record in QA/QC and audit management at site or business-unit levels, with experience in multi-site and cross-cultural leadership across Europe, North America, and Asia.
• Experience in building or rebuilding quality functions with measurable outcomes, including audit findings closure and improved customer scorecards.
• Technical literacy in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product quality and manage the quality management system across all production sites.
• Oversee laboratory operations and calibration/metrology governance, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Lead supplier qualification and audit programs, collaborating closely with Procurement.
• Conduct internal audits and integrate ESG-linked supplier assurance into the audit process.
• Coach plant teams and enhance capabilities on the shop floor.
• Manage customer audits, quality reviews, and complaint handling with major clients.

Education

• Relevant degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
