Group Financial Controller

Job summary

The Group Financial Controller will play a key role in an international organization, focusing on optimizing processes within the Accounting and Controlling function. This position involves leading the financial aspects of the CSRD project and managing month-end and year-end closing tasks at the Group level.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of over 3 years in audit or finance/accounting
• HD (R) or master’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing, or a related field
• Experience with CSRD is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial components of the CSRD project
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing tasks for the Group
• Manage cash pool and cashflow tasks, including forecasting and stakeholder communication
• Develop and maintain internal policies and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Participate in various accounting projects across the organization
• Handle ad hoc accounting and audit tasks

Skills

• Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and quality in deliverables
• Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and accurate communication
• Experience in process optimization and automation within finance and accounting
• Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders

Education

• HD (R) or master’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing, or a related field
