Global Service Specialist (Remote)

Job summary

The Global Service Specialist is a senior service expert responsible for supporting pathology instruments within a global diagnostic service organization. This fully remote role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement in service processes.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of service experience, ideally in diagnostics, pathology, or complex technical instrumentation.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in conducting technical training courses.
• Excellent technical writing skills for creating service documentation and training materials.
• Good analytical skills to understand complex processes and service trends.
• Positive, independent work ethic with a proactive approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide global technical escalation support to field service engineers and service partners via various communication methods.
• Plan and deliver training for field service engineers and service partners, including onsite and online formats.
• Develop and enhance service documentation, including manuals and training materials.
• Manage spare parts, including creation and obsolescence management.
• Monitor product and service issues, driving resolutions through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Represent service interests in R&D and project meetings to ensure future serviceability.
• Participate in supplier and partner meetings to clarify service requirements.
