Job summary

The role involves overseeing the global payroll process for an international workforce, ensuring compliance with local regulations and enhancing operational efficiency through automation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing preparatory payroll, particularly for Germany.
  • Experience with payroll in France and/or Spain is preferred; knowledge of AT, UK, NL, US, or PT is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing external payroll providers and ensuring compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Fluent in both English and German, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparatory payroll process for multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external payroll providers and oversee compliance-related queries.
  • Address payroll-related employee inquiries with empathy and expertise.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline payroll workflows.
  • Collaborate with RevOps for accurate commission and bonus calculations.
  • Support Finance with staff cost reporting and audits.
  • Assist in applications for international grants and subsidies by providing necessary documentation.

  • Strong process optimization mindset with experience in automating workflows.
  • Data-driven approach with analytical capabilities.
  • Empathetic communication style for explaining complex payroll issues.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in payroll management or related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with HRIS and Payroll systems, as well as proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
