Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing and evaluating optics problems that reflect real physics research workflows. Qualifications

  • Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Proficiency in numerical simulation methods.
  • Capability to design problems that replicate real physics research workflows.
  • Creative problem-solving skills across diverse areas of physics.
  • Strong written English proficiency (C1+).

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active project phases, depending on specific project needs.

Compensation

Earn up to $45 per hour, based on experience and contribution pace. Compensation may vary by project depending on scope and complexity.

  • Create original optics problems that simulate real-world physics research scenarios.
  • Ensure problems are complex and require significant computational resources to solve.
  • Develop problems that necessitate advanced reasoning in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
  • Base problems on actual research challenges or practical applications in optics and physics.
  • Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct answers.
