Job summary

The Flight Support Manager is tasked with leading and optimizing the Flight Support department to ensure safe and efficient flight operations. This role involves managerial and technical oversight of flight support activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective integration into daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education in aeronautics, technical fields, or aviation management, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in Flight Operations Engineering or Flight Support management.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Eligibility to work within the European Union.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain Flight Support processes, including aircraft performance data and navigation databases.
  • Oversee route and aerodrome categorization and manage aircraft navigation data updates.
  • Coordinate activities related to aircraft addition and removal, and supervise post-flight documentation.
  • Manage performance degradation processes and produce quarterly reports for management.
  • Ensure all flight operations documentation is current and properly distributed.
  • Manage staffing, budgeting, and operational readiness of the Flight Support function.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Jeppesen JDM, OPT, and MyBoeingFleet; familiarity with Boeing PET, BCOP, and BPS is preferred.
  • Experience with Flightkeys is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Education

  • Relevant aeronautical or aviation management education or equivalent professional background.
