Fleet Superintendent

Job summary

The Fleet Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of vessels, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness in alignment with company values. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, based on-site in Copenhagen, with some international travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage Masters and Chief Engineers assigned to vessels.
• Ensure safety is prioritized in all operations.
• Foster effective team dynamics and engagement.
• Oversee operational matters for assigned vessels.
• Manage planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs within budget.
• Coordinate inspections and dry docking activities.
• Ensure compliance with vessel certification and survey requirements.
• Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee financial budgets for maintenance and repairs.
• Suggest innovations and improvements in operations.
• Monitor service quality from shipyards and suppliers.
• Conduct technical inspections and provide operational feedback for future projects.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
