Fleet Planner (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role of Fleet Planner involves ensuring the availability and maintenance of the train fleet, coordinating closely with various internal stakeholders to optimize resource utilization and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning within operations, maintenance, production, or similar fields.
• Strong coordination and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Analytical and data-driven problem-solving approach.
• Proficient IT skills, particularly in Excel and planning systems.
• Good communication skills in both Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily activities for the fleet and depot.
• Ensure a balance between operational needs, maintenance, and depot capacity.
• Monitor fleet availability and performance.
• Adjust plans in response to operational disruptions, errors, or changing priorities.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, EHS, and customer organizations.
• Ensure effective resource utilization at the depot.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in planning processes.
• Work towards goals related to quality, delivery, and efficiency.

Skills

• Experience in the railway, transport, or maintenance industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
• Knowledge of asset management or fleet planning.
• Understanding of quality and safety processes.

Education

• Relevant educational background in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Proficiency in planning systems and tools relevant to fleet management.
