Financial Reporting Analyst

Job summary

The role involves providing financial insights and supporting external market reporting within a global listed organization in the mining industry. The position emphasizes accuracy, transparency, and a strong understanding of financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an auditor or controller.
• At least a HD in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong interest in IT applications and AI in finance processes.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and IFRS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare external reporting, including annual and interim financial reports.
• Participate in the implementation of Workiva for external reporting.
• Develop standardized, high-quality reports for various stakeholders.
• Improve and maintain master data in the consolidation system.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of IFRS-related topics.
• Manage selected accounting areas and their controls.
• Explore and develop AI-driven processes to enhance reporting efficiency.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills and flair for MS Excel and IT systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and take ownership of responsibilities.

Education

• At least a HD in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent qualification.

Tools

• Familiarity with consolidation systems and financial reporting tools.
