Financial Planning and Analysis Lead (Denmark)

Job summary

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead to oversee FP&A efforts and business partnerships in Denmark. This role is integral to the local Finance organization and involves collaboration with the country Managing Director and the Leadership Team to influence decision-making and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Over 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in FP&A.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to organize and interpret data.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Danish is preferred.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO modules and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insights to support decision-making for the Managing Director and Country Leadership Team.
• Lead budgeting, strategic planning, and market planning activities, including quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting.
• Foster business partnerships across divisions to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Deliver financial presentations and analyze data to identify investment opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Conduct variance analysis and manage performance against financial targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases for new initiatives.
• Drive operational review meetings and coordinate the Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Support the monthly close process in collaboration with the Accounting Lead.
