Financial Controller (On-site, Hvidovre)

Job summary

This position involves joining a Group Finance team to ensure high-quality financial reporting and governance across multiple entities and countries. The role offers exposure to IFRS reporting, audits, acquisitions, and internal controls, while contributing to the development of finance processes and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Background in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or controlling
• Interest in financial reporting and accounting, with a desire to learn about IFRS and group finance
• Experience in a controller role or Big4 environment is a plus, but not mandatory
• Proactive and structured approach with strong ownership skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate internal and external group reporting in compliance with IFRS, including quarterly and annual reports
• Prepare local statutory accounts according to the Danish Financial Statements Act (ÅRL)
• Prepare documentation for audits and coordinate with external auditors
• Prepare opening balances related to acquisitions
• Strengthen and enhance existing internal controls
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and finance projects
• Contribute to process improvements within Group Finance

Education

• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

Tools

• Familiarity with financial reporting tools and software is advantageous
