Financial Accountant (Copenhagen Area)

Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in an international setting.
• Ownership of responsibilities with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Proactive, positive, and service-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Danish is not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with e-conomic or similar financial systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records for a European entity.
• Ensure accurate and timely postings in line with month-end closing procedures.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage supplier invoices and payments.
• Handle employee expenses and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support VAT, corporate tax, payroll, and statutory reporting processes with external advisors.
• Contribute to financial reporting and insights preparation.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Assist the finance team with ad hoc accounting and financial tasks as needed.
