Financial Accountant (Copenhagen Area)

Job summary

The role involves managing the financial records and bookkeeping for one of the company's European entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient processes to support the company's growth.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in an international setting.
• Ownership of responsibilities with a focus on delivering accurate, high-quality work.
• Structured and detail-oriented working style.
• Proactive, positive, and service-oriented approach.
• Fluent communication in English, both written and verbal; Danish is not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with e-conomic or similar financial systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records.
• Ensure accurate and timely postings in line with month-end closing procedures.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage supplier invoices and payments.
• Handle employee expenses and corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support VAT, corporate tax, payroll, and statutory reporting processes with external advisors.
• Contribute to financial reporting and insights preparation.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls.
• Assist the finance team with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.
