Finance Student Assistant

Job summary

This role involves supporting the Finance Team by transforming financial data into actionable insights. You will engage with various stakeholders to develop and maintain dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI is required.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and potentially Alteryx.
• Experience with D365 is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Transform financial data into insights using Power BI, Snowflake, and Alteryx.
• Gather and prioritize business requirements for dashboard development.
• Collaborate with IT on data-related projects and improvements.
• Act as the primary contact for support and improvement requests within the team.
• Update presentations and spreadsheets for executive management reporting.

Skills

• Ability to define and implement KPIs within finance using Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Experience in a finance department or with financial datasets is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant educational background in finance or a related field is preferred.
