Finance Specialist (Supply Financing, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The Finance Specialist (Supply Financing) will be part of a division focused on ensuring access to essential supplies for children and families in various contexts. This role involves supporting the implementation of financing strategies aimed at mobilizing resources for procurement and enhancing efficiency in supply financing operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree (Master’s) in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting, Audit, Risk Management, Business Administration, International Development Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in development finance, risk management, or public finance at national and international levels.
• Experience collaborating with Ministries of Health and Finance on procurement and financial issues related to health products.
• Familiarity with credit facilities, revolving funds, or lending portfolios.
• Proficiency in data processing systems for financial modeling and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply financing operations and support resource mobilization efforts.
• Manage donor reporting for financing initiatives, including the Vaccine Independence Initiative (VII).
• Conduct procurement services forecast exercises for effective resource planning.
• Provide analytical support to countries regarding budgetary processes and procurement forecasts.
• Engage with various stakeholders, including external partners and donors, to facilitate coordination.
