Finance ERP Consultant / Manager (Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role focuses on finance transformation, emphasizing the operating model before technology. Based in Copenhagen, the position involves collaborating with CFOs across the Nordics and the Netherlands to drive comprehensive finance transformations, including strategy, planning, reporting, data integration, and ERP implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering finance transformation across the entire function, from operating model to technology, using any major ERP system.
• Strong understanding of the CFO's agenda, including strategy, operating models, enterprise performance management, reporting, data analytics, and transactional cycles (R2R, O2C, P2P).
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop finance strategies, operating models, and organizational designs, followed by the appropriate technology solutions.
• Redesign enterprise performance management processes, including planning, forecasting, profitability, and cost management.
• Modernize reporting processes, including management, statutory reporting, group consolidation, and financial closing.
• Integrate data, analytics, and AI into finance operations to enhance decision-making.
• Optimize transactional processes (R2R, O2C, P2P) using suitable ERP systems.
• Enhance CFO performance metrics, focusing on enterprise value, cost efficiency, working capital, and ESG reporting.
• At the Manager level, lead workstreams, manage teams, drive change management, and contribute to business development efforts.

Skills

• Familiarity with data modeling, analytics, and visualization; exposure to AI or machine learning in finance is a plus.
• A finance qualification or equivalent practical experience is desirable.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in finance or related fields is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with major ERP systems and finance-related technologies.
