Finance Controller (Svendborg)

Job summary

The role involves being a key player in the finance team, reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating with regional Finance Managers and the Finance Shared Service Center in Chennai. The position focuses on group-wide financial controlling, ad-hoc analysis, and continuous improvement, emphasizing collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in finance controlling or 2-4 years as an auditor.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, performance management, and cash flow.
• Experience in an international, multi-entity organization is advantageous.
• Insight into ERP systems, preferably Business Central, for optimization prioritization.
• Experience with process optimizations and efficiency gains, including AI, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to financial controlling and performance transparency during month-end and annual close processes.
• Act as a trusted partner to the CFO on optimization initiatives and prepare management materials for executive discussions.
• Collaborate with the Finance Business Partnering team to support performance management and strategic initiatives.
• Work with the Finance Shared Service Center on master data improvements and process alignment.
• Drive optimization initiatives and efficiency gains across finance processes.

Education

• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Tools

• ERP systems, preferably Business Central.
