The Finance Business Partner for CMC and Quality plays a vital role in providing financial clarity to complex scientific decisions, ensuring that development, manufacturing, and quality choices are made with strong financial visibility and risk-adjusted thinking.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in finance business partnering, financial planning, project finance, R&D finance, or manufacturing finance.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including scenario modeling and risk-adjusted analysis.
• Proven experience working with senior stakeholders to translate complex business decisions into clear financial implications.
• Familiarity with investment decisions, stage-gate governance, and long-term strategies in development or manufacturing.
• Interest in applying AI and digital tools to enhance financial insights and decision-making.
• Background in pharma, biotech, life sciences, or regulated environments is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with senior leaders in CMC and Quality to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Develop financial models that incorporate scenario planning and risk assessments to guide stage-gate decisions and capital investments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to help leaders understand the financial implications of their decisions and embed value and compliance considerations.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as biologics manufacturing strategy and cost of quality transparency.
• Collaborate with R&D Finance, Procurement, and external partners to integrate financial considerations into key business choices.
