Finance Analyst

Job summary

A Finance Analyst is sought to join a biopharmaceutical company's Financial Controlling team, focusing on financial operations and process improvement. This role involves hands-on financial control and collaboration with global teams to enhance finance processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, auditing, or controlling.
• Proficiency with financial data and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft D365 Finance is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial controls and accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is advantageous.
• Effective English communication skills for collaboration across Finance, IT, and business units.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Interest in digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities and support Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, and related communications.
• Participate in month-end closing, SOX controls, and IFRS-related accounting activities to ensure accurate finance reporting.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate finance processes, driving documentation and governance.
• Engage in system optimization projects and cross-team initiatives, including the Impero month-end close tool.
• Utilize systems and data to enhance quality, efficiency, and user experience, building scalable workflows.
