Job summary

This position focuses on enhancing communication and advocacy efforts for a humanitarian organization, specifically targeting Nordic and Baltic audiences from the Nordic Office in Copenhagen. The role involves supporting partnerships with governments and stakeholders in these regions to increase funding and visibility for the organization's initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be a master's student or a graduate in Political Science, International Development, International Business, Communications, or related fields.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required; proficiency in another UN language or a Nordic language is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Strengthen communication and advocacy efforts with Nordic and Baltic audiences.
• Coordinate newsletters and information-sharing initiatives to keep stakeholders informed.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms and manage these accounts.
• Plan and coordinate events to enhance engagement with Nordic and Baltic partners.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions with Nordic and Baltic governments.
• Identify opportunities for innovative partnerships with public and private stakeholders in the region.
• Conduct analyses of the political landscape and provide recommendations.
