Job summary

This position focuses on enhancing communication and advocacy efforts for a humanitarian organization, specifically targeting Nordic and Baltic audiences from the Nordic Office in Copenhagen. Qualifications

  • Must be a master's student or a graduate in Political Science, International Development, International Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required; proficiency in another UN language or a Nordic language is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen communication and advocacy efforts with Nordic and Baltic audiences.
  • Coordinate newsletters and information-sharing initiatives to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms and manage these accounts.
  • Plan and coordinate events to enhance engagement with Nordic and Baltic partners.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with Nordic and Baltic governments.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative partnerships with public and private stakeholders in the region.
  • Conduct analyses of the political landscape and provide recommendations.

Skills

  • Strong communication and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to create impactful content for various platforms.
  • Experience in donor relations and external engagement.
  • Skills in drafting official communications for high-level stakeholders.

Education

  • Master's student or graduate in relevant fields such as Political Science or International Development.
