ESG & Environmental Manager

Job summary

The ESG & Environmental Manager will ensure compliance with environmental, sustainability, and regulatory requirements across the organization. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to drive ESG initiatives and enhance environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in ESG, sustainability, compliance, environmental, or QHSE roles.
• Hands-on experience with ESG frameworks, data collection, and reporting.
• Strong project management skills with a structured, data-driven approach.
• Solid understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with supply chain compliance is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement EU environmental regulations such as RoHS, REACH, and others.
• Ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations and customer requirements.
• Drive ESG initiatives across business units.
• Collect, validate, and consolidate ESG data from stakeholders.
• Manage ESG reporting, including CSRD-related disclosures.
• Improve ESG data management and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure environmental compliance.
• Conduct internal ISO 14001 audits and participate in customer audits.
• Follow up on corrective actions from audits.
• Support the integrated management system and embed environmental considerations in product development.
• Advise on ESG requirements and best practices.
• Represent the company in global ESG steering teams.

Education

• Relevant educational background, preferably at Bachelor's degree level or higher.
