Enterprise Risk Officer

Job summary

This role focuses on developing and maintaining a comprehensive resilience framework to effectively identify, assess, and respond to enterprise risks and crises. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the position involves collaboration with leadership to enhance risk management practices and ensure organizational preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications in risk management or related areas are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk, crisis management, and compliance.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders in complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance risk management frameworks, including governance and reporting.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify and assess various risks and mitigation strategies.
• Generate regular reports for senior management and boards on emerging risks and mitigation progress.
• Establish policies and protocols for crisis situations.
• Coordinate responses to significant incidents, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
• Oversee the development and testing of business continuity plans and strategies.
• Facilitate training and simulations for crisis teams and stakeholders.
• Implement lessons learned from incidents to enhance processes.
• Foster risk awareness and resilience planning across the organization.
• Stay updated on regulatory and industry standards to maintain an effective resilience framework.
