Job summary

The Employment Relations Specialist will serve as a trusted advisor on employment law matters, collaborating closely with HR colleagues and line management in Denmark. This role involves supporting complex legal interpretations, participating in Nordic HR projects, and enhancing employment relations processes across the region.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in law
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an HR organization
  • Knowledge of collective agreements in the insurance/financial sector is advantageous
  • Experience in negotiating local collective agreements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Advise HR and line management on legal matters and collective agreements
  • Participate in Nordic HR projects related to employment relations and compensation
  • Monitor and coordinate employee benefits in Denmark
  • Collaborate with Nordic ER and HR Compliance teams to improve processes
  • Engage in union cooperation and negotiations
  • Provide training on employment relations topics for HR and leadership
  • Address work environment issues from a legal perspective

Skills

  • Strong expertise in labor law
  • Ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance
  • Self-driven with strong networking skills
  • Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders

Education

  • Master’s degree in law

Tools

  • Familiarity with HR management systems and compliance tools
