Job summary

The EHS Engineer for the Nordics region plays a crucial role in ensuring environmental health and safety compliance for clients. This position involves reviewing documentation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and collaborating with teams to enhance safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in document development and management within Health & Safety or Occupational Safety in Sweden.
  • Electrical authorization is required; validation in Finland is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards applicable in Sweden.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • C1 proficiency in Swedish and English; Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly review and improve existing EHS documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with service managers and employees for feedback on safety practices.
  • Analyze EHS data to identify trends and update documents accordingly.
  • Generate compliance and performance reports for management.
  • Create and update training materials.
  • Coordinate and perform audits.
  • Manage emergency response plans and procedures.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Certification in EHS-related disciplines is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
