Demand Planner (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves integrated business planning (IBP) to enhance forecasting and planning across various functions including marketing, sales, and finance. The Demand Planner will work closely with data scientists to generate accurate forecasts and coordinate demand reviews, focusing on the Cellular Molecular Research and Health Care Diagnostics sales channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge in sales, marketing, or finance; experience in forecasting or planning is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and executive presence.
• Ability to assess complex business problems and deliver impactful results.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with management at various levels.
• Self-motivated and capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts using IBP data modeling and market intelligence.
• Coordinate demand reviews with sales and marketing teams.
• Execute demand planning to ensure effective forecasts.
• Analyze historical sales trends and evaluate forecast results.
• Perform root cause analysis on forecast accuracy and bias.
• Generate consolidated forecasts of unconstrained demand.
• Discuss IBP deviations and their impact on current plans.
• Facilitate best practices and consensus among functional experts.
• Implement improvement actions and develop communication plans for stakeholders.
• Monitor forecast consumption and plan attainment.
