Demand Analyst & Planner (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves owning the demand plan for specific categories within the Danish market, ensuring that business decisions are based on accurate and actionable demand forecasts. The position is part of the Nordic Demand Planning team and requires collaboration with various departments to drive forecast accuracy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain, or a similar analytical role, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong analytical skills combined with sound business judgment.
• Ability to take ownership of work and accountability for outcomes.
• Attention to detail with a capacity to challenge assumptions and identify inconsistencies.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the demand plan and forecast performance for assigned categories.
• Translate commercial activities and market insights into realistic demand forecasts.
• Identify risks and opportunities while ensuring alignment with business realities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Supply Planning to develop actionable plans.
• Lead demand reviews and support decision-making in the monthly planning process.
• Drive analytical and continuous improvement initiatives within the Nordic Demand Planning organization.
