Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of practical data science experience with demonstrable business impact
  • Portfolio showcasing completed projects and publications
  • Proficient in Python for data science (pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, statsmodels)
  • Strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning
  • Expertise in SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Familiarity with GenAI technologies (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases)
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model deployment workflows
  • Knowledge of modern frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain)
  • Strong written English proficiency (C1+)

Responsibilities

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $58 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace. Project time expectations are around 10–20 hours per week during active phases.

  • Design original computational data science problems
  • Create problems requiring Python programming to solve
  • Ensure problems are computationally intensive and require non-trivial reasoning
  • Develop end-to-end problems across the data science pipeline
  • Incorporate big data processing scenarios
  • Document problem statements with realistic business contexts
