Data Scientist

Job summary

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a team focused on maintaining the integrity of online reviews through advanced modeling techniques. This role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models that contribute to the Trust roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly with graph data.
• Strong technical foundation in data preparation, exploration, and modeling.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Data Science role, preferably in the technology sector or technical consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Applied AI and Data Science components for strategic projects in Trust.
• Develop and maintain production-ready machine learning models with support from ML engineers.
• Influence business decisions through advancements in Applied AI.
• Work with data engineering and deployment technologies, including Google BigQuery.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
• Experience with analytical problem-solving using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning methods.
• Knowledge of data pipelining and cloud-based ML model deployments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical colleagues and business stakeholders.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Google BigQuery, and leading Data Science tools.
