Data Engineer

Job summary

We are seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to our Open Intelligence initiative. This role involves building and maintaining essential data capabilities, pipelines, and innovative features that support our global media ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in data wrangling using languages such as Python, Go, or Scala.
• Experience with large-scale processing engines and ecosystems, particularly Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and testing best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform.
• Experience with containerization management tools like Kubernetes.
• Passion for data, technology, and programming languages.
• Interest in utilizing AI coding assistants and prompt engineering for productivity enhancement.
